Last year a friend asked me to make some snacks for her. She opened her own photography studio with some friends of hers. It was a Grand Opening and she wanted me to make some sweet snacks for the party. I made Chocolate Brownie Cupcakes, Raspberry Cake Pops as well as these Instagram Cookies.

This is going to be a little series, since I made various cake pops for an order. All were Christmas themed and we started with the Christmas tree three days ago. Now we need to put something under it.
I am sure by now that cake pops a good for pretty much any occasion. So far I’ve made regular round ones but also character ones like Angry Birds or Lalaloopsy. Of course they are perfect for Christmas as well. How about some Christmas trees?

First of all, big thank you to Bob from BS’ in the Kitchen. He told me that he made those lights himself and that he has a tutorial on the BS blog. Thank you, you made my day with this. We had a food blogger meeting (more in a separate post) and we talked about pictures and lights and such. I knew about these lights before but had no idea I could make them myself.
