Carnival Cupcakes

Almost looks like ice cream.

Making desserts for parties is always fun, especially when you have a themed party. Remember the the Lalaloopsy Cake Pops? Those were for a Lalaloopsy birthday party and a lot of fun to do (besides the amount of work of course). A while ago a cousin asked me if I would make some cupcakes for her daughter’s birthday party. The theme was Carnival. Oh my! What to do with that? I immediately thought of colours of course, fun and something different. A little bit of browsing the internet and thinking about what my cupcake cook books had in store I found the recipe.

Play Dough Cookies

It is March, which means ins some parts of the world spring is on its way. Well, here in lovely Saskatoon spring will have a later appearance, we still have snow everywhere. Actually, we had a snow storm the other day but we hope warm weather is on its way. If you don’t have the colours outside you should make sure you have them inside, on your plate, or in your hand for that matter. These lovely cookies are the perfect opportunity and so much fun to look at.

Christmas Market Food

My husband and I made it safely to Vancouver, that was a 17 hour trip in total. First through Llyodminster, then Edmonton, through Jasper and then a night over at Valemont. The “No baking” post

I would love to have this one.

I wanted to tell you what you need to make a gingerbread house and how you would go about this. But apparently my computer here doesn’t like my flash drive. Now that was a first so I am without pictures and there is no point in posting a “how to” without pictures. As a result you get a post without baking, well, maybe some tips that I can think of. On the other hand, I can talk about some random things, like that apron.
