Who doesn’t like a cocktail once in a while? Especially when you are out with some company in a nice little bar. At home though, no one really mixes is own cocktails, unless you have an awesome bar in your house or you are a bartender. Yet, once in a while you wish you could do that for a party you are giving. Applesauce Muffins
It’s alsmost the first day of fall but frankly, I have been in fall mode for at least a week. I love this season because I was born in October and falling leaves, changing colour, and the slightly cool and crisp air with some sunshine just get to me. Apples of course play a big role in fall so here we go with another apple recipe.

Book Review: “Tortillas to the Rescue” and Apple Cinnamon Tortilla Pockets
A while ago I received Tortillas to the Rescue, which was written by Jessica Harlan. Now, I like tortillas or wraps as much as anyone else, but I had no clue that you can write a cook book about it. Most intriguing for me was the Sweet Endings section. You can use tortillas for dessert? Yes please!
Zucchini Lime Cake
Oh, there are so many things to do with zucchini: grill it, put it in salad, bake with it. I decided for the latter this time. But I didn’t want to make a chocolate cake because that seems to be regular thing to do. Facebook to the rescue!
