Applesauce Muffins

It’s alsmost the first day of fall but frankly, I have been in fall mode for at least a week. I love this season because I was born in October and falling leaves, changing colour, and the slightly cool and crisp air with some sunshine just get to me. Macha and Lime Macarons

Book Review: “Tortillas to the Rescue” and Apple Cinnamon Tortilla Pockets

A while ago I received Tortillas to the Rescue, which was written by Jessica Harlan. Now, I like tortillas or wraps as much as anyone else, but I had no clue that you can write a cook book about it. Most intriguing for me was the Sweet Endings section. You can use tortillas for dessert? Yes please!

Did you ever can before? In my 28 years I’ve never done it though I remember my mother doing that. Living in the GDR that was the way to preserve things from your garden.
