One of my first baking experiences, besides a simple cake, were muffins. I love muffins! They are simple and versatile and fun! Of course there is this rivalry with Cupcakes, but often I find cupcakes too sweet. Muffins on the other hand can be savoury as well. This recipe isn’t, but it’s on my “Baking Bucket List” to make a savoury muffin one day.
Last year I made an Easter Wreath for my German Language class. This year I thought I revisit that recipe and see how I can improve on it. Since then and now I have actually found fresh yeast and thought I would give it a try.

I was asked to make a dainty tray for church and so I am thinking “What to do?” First I thought Whoopie Pies because that was on my mind for a while. But I also wanted to make a mix of things, not just one. Besides, I had some things left over.
A week or so ago I talked to my mother in Germany and she told me what she made for Christmas. In our family, Christmas supper depends on the person who is hosting it. So each year will be different. She told me what her dessert was and since we are invited over to a friends house I thought I would make the same dessert: Panna Cotta.

I was fairly busy the last days, not with cooking and baking but with other stuff. I barely had time to actually sit down and take care of pictures and posts. Sorry about that.
